Hey everyone! We've been hard at work building and setting up our brand new minecraft server. We've purchased a 20 slot server and are installing the necessary plugins to make it a welcome and friendly public server! Our server is going to be a multi-function server that is guaranteed to keep players active and enjoying themselves! Anybody can join the server, but you cannot build unless you apply to be a builder. We have 3 different types of play in the server: Themed building, Freebuilding, and Factions Roleplaying.
In themed building play, there are 6 different themed portals at the spawn of the server that you can enter: Wooded Wilderness, Desert Lands, Medieval times, Underground Caverns, Snowy Paradise, and Modern City. Every time you enter one of these portals, you are teleported to a section of the world populated with buildings specifically designed to match the theme that is set. Players are encouraged (after registering as a builder) to build their own buildings as long as they follow the guidelines set in each section. The main rules of the server are in the spawn are as well as online, also the theme rules are posted near the entrance of each themed section. Items are not free in themed building, so you must either mine and sell your own blocks/tools or you can buy blocks/tools from the block store in the main spawn. Additionally, every 4 days you receive $500.
For freebuilding, we have a designated portal in the main spawn. The spawn is multi-colored and is to the direct right if you are facing the rules list. Once you enter the freebuilding portal you are teleported to a separate world that is different from the spawn/themed worlds. After entering the portal, your inventory is cleared (don't worry once you exit the portal you get your stuff back) and infront of you is a large flatland. Builders are encouraged to build whatever they want in this area! :D Blocks and tools are completely free in this world so inside of the Freeside Block Shop (to the left of the portal) every item is free! Feel free to let your creativity flow but keep it appropriate! Have fun!
Factions Roleplaying is a plugin that is designed for players to grow their faction and create awesome forts and castles. The more members in your faction, the more powerful you are. The more powerful you are, the more land you can claim! The more land you can claim, the more castles and buildings you can make! You can ally with other factions, and you can become enemies with other factions. You can even combat other factions in the warzone! The designated area for faction building and land claiming is going through the freebuild portal (multicolored one), then going left until you see the elevator portal. When you enter the portal you are teleported to the top of the freebuild area and you can go out, explore, and claim land for your faction! Type /f help ingame for a more detailed look at all of the commands associated with factions! Enjoy and may the mightiest faction win!
